Words that rhyme with Align
Align works as an unguarded everyday word on the lyric side and two-syllable the tight /ɪ/ on the sound side — it lets the line ring through a nasal at the close. Plain-speech words like this earn weight through context. Take the rhyme counts on their own terms: perfect rhymes are common for this one, family rhymes give you a small but useful slant pool, the assonance column dwarfs the others. Take the lyric role separately and it's an unguarded everyday word. The strict list gives you a chorus' worth of options before you ever need a slant.

How songwriters use these rhymes
I keep on saying align, and the night keeps saying affine back.
Align here, sublime there, the ear says they rhyme.
Align alone, affined in the chorus — the song builds the consonant in.
Align at the line's beginning, sometimes at its end, same vowel humming through both.
Align and abstain: the vowels are different but the consonants are kin.
Why align rhymes the way it does
In our engine, align registers as a two-syllable word on the short /ɪ/ (/ɪ/) that lets the nasal carry the tail. In our 54,000-word dictionary the perfect-rhyme pool returns 53 matches, family rhymes 17, additive and subtractive together 199, assonance 2,885, and consonance 1020. That's a generous landscape on both axes. A song can stay in strict rhymes across a verse without repeating itself, then drop into family rhymes for the bridge. What matters when you're writing: the ear forgives slants in service of meaning. If the strict rhyme is the predictable word, the assonance match will usually hit harder. Align is a word where the slant choice almost always reads as more thoughtful than the obvious end-rhyme.
