Words that rhyme with Description
Start from the sound: description is a three-syllable word on the centred /ษ/, and it ends on a humming nasal. Songs that use it well also reach for something physical nearby. Type rhymes for description into any dictionary and the answer is roughly the same: there are a few perfect rhymes, no more, family-rhyme territory comes up dry, while the assonance pool has more matches than any verse will use. Its lyric role is a non-image word. When strict matches feel exhausted, the assonance column is where you go fishing.

Why description rhymes the way it does
Description is three-syllable, its rhyme-relevant vowel sitting on the front /ษ/, then it trails through a nasal hum. In our 54,000-word dictionary the perfect-rhyme pool returns 7 matches, family rhymes 0, additive and subtractive together 47, assonance 11,143, and consonance 9. That's a narrow strict column with a very deep slant well beneath it. Modern songwriting reads those slants as rhymes; the ear has been trained on them for a century. Writing-tip: don't end every line with the strict rhyme. Use the slant columns at the joints and the strict matches at the seams. Description works hardest when the slant carries the verse and the strict match closes the chorus.
