Words that rhyme with Lumber
There's a particular shape to lumber: two-syllable, built on the /ษหr/ vowel, ending that flows into the next line via a liquid. Common words like this gain weight from the company they keep on the line. From the rhyme-data side: perfect rhymes hand you a small starter set, no family-rhyme matches turn up, and the slant pool, matched on vowel alone, is huge. From the lyric side, it works as a quotidian anchor. Reach for assonance first; the strict list is the safety net underneath it.

Why lumber rhymes the way it does
In our engine, lumber registers as a two-syllable word on the r-coloured schwa (/ษหr/) that flows into the next line via a liquid. In our 54,000-word dictionary the perfect-rhyme pool returns 11 matches, family rhymes 0, additive and subtractive together 65, assonance 4,452, and consonance 45. The empty family column matters less than it looks. Family rhymes are a strict-classifier construct; the songwriter's ear accepts most assonance matches in their place. Practical: skim the strict column first and pick the two or three matches you can sing without thinking. Then move to assonance for the in-between lines. Lumber reads as more memorable when the strict matches are reserved for the line endings that matter most.
